Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight-end, who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. He is considered to be one of the top tight ends to ever play. Additionally, he was the NFL's leader for receiving yards and third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez was also among the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently working in the studio of FOX. Gonzalez is a regular on FOX NFL KICKOFF since this past season, serves as the show's host. The show is broadcast every Sunday at 11:15 am ET before FOX NFL Sunday.
Gonzalez was released by the Falcons on March 15, 2013. He signed a contract that was worth $14 million over two years. He did this regardless of the fact that he had claimed that he would retire at the close of the season. With the retirement of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez was the NFL's active leader in yards receptive.
